Memorials made to the sanctuary, in Memory of Janice DeWeese Brown, helped fund a large rescue of 5 donkeys from slaughter. Janice was my second mother all through life and a huge supporter. She was the first ever to make a donation to save Gracie, one of our original rescue donkeys.
